Sellers accept these Terms each time they publish a test or bundle to the marketplace; they confirm the seller's responsibility for that specific listing. Buyers accept them with every purchase (Sections 7 to 9).
1. Right to Sell
You confirm you have the full right to list and sell this content, and that it is your original work or properly licensed.
2. Original-Content Warranty
- The listing does not copy or reproduce copyrighted material without permission.
- It does not infringe exam-board (e.g. IELTS, ÖSD, Goethe) copyrights or trademarks.
- Passages, audio, and images are yours or cleared for use.
3. Pricing, Discounts & Coins
- You set the price. Discounts and free periods you enable are your choice.
- Coin-based discounts applied by buyers are funded by the Platform, not deducted from your earnings.
4. Platform Commission
A platform fee is added on top of your set price and shown before you publish. Your earnings are the base price after Platform processing.
5. Takedown
We may remove listings that violate these Terms, receive valid infringement complaints, or generate repeated buyer disputes. Buyers of a removed listing may be refunded under Section 8.
6. Per-Listing Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of each listing. Zex-lo is not liable for content you publish.
7. Buyer License & Teacher Seats
By completing a purchase of a test or bundle from the marketplace, you accept these license terms.
- Personal license. Grants access to the content for your own use only. It may not be resold, shared, or redistributed.
- Student (seat) license. A teacher buys a number of student seats. Each distinct student you assign the content to consumes one seat; the total number of assigned students may not exceed the seats you have purchased. One additional seat is included for the teacher's own copy.
- Seats are tied to your account and the specific listing. They are not transferable between different tests or to other teachers.
- You may purchase additional seats at any time. Access you have granted to a student may be reassigned to another student by removing and re-adding within your seat limit.
- Refunds follow Section 8.
8. Refunds
- Unopened purchases, within 48 hours. You can refund a personal-license purchase yourself within 48 hours of buying it, as long as you have not opened any test in it and have not downloaded its PDF. The full amount you paid returns to your Zex-lo wallet and the content leaves your library.
- Review by support, within 14 days. If the content is broken, missing, or not as described, you can send a refund request with a reason within 14 days of the purchase. Support decides on a full refund (the content leaves your library), a partial refund (you keep the content), or declines the request. Student (seat) licenses and gifts are refunded only this way.
- Refunds are paid to your Zex-lo wallet, not to a card. Coins earned from the purchase are taken back from your coin balance; a coin coupon used on it becomes active again until its own expiry date.
- You can refund the same listing by yourself only once, and no more than 3 purchases in 30 days. Requests that show a buy-and-refund pattern may be declined.
- Sellers. The seller's share of a refunded sale is taken back from the seller's earnings: from pending earnings while they are held, otherwise from the available balance. A negative balance is covered by future sales and cannot be withdrawn.
- Nothing here limits refunds you are entitled to by law.
9. PDF Copies
- Where the seller allows it, a buyer can download a PDF copy of a purchased test for their own study. Every page shows the buyer's name and order code.
- PDF copies are for personal use. You may not share, sell, upload, or print them for other people. A copy found elsewhere can be traced to its order, and the account may be suspended.
10. Seller Permissions
On each listing the seller chooses whether buyers may download a PDF copy, whether teachers may buy a Student (seat) license, whether a free sample can be opened, and whether platform discount campaigns may apply. A change applies to new purchases and downloads; licenses and seats already sold stay valid.
11. Learning Centers
- Selling as a center. A learning center on the Standard or Pro plan sells only its own tests, under the center's name. The owner or an admin publishes them and accepts these terms for each listing. The center is the seller: the commission, the 7-day hold and the refund rules above apply as for any seller, and earnings go to the center wallet.
- Buying as a center. The owner or an admin of a center on the Standard or Pro plan can buy a center license, paid from the center wallet. The test goes to the center library, and the center's teachers give it to their classes. Each distinct student of the center uses one seat across the whole center; there is no extra seat for teachers.
- A center license belongs to the center and stays with it when a teacher leaves. It may not be shared outside the center.
- Center refunds. The owner or an admin can refund a center license within 48 hours if no teacher has added it to a Study Library yet. The money returns to the center wallet. Other cases go through support.
