A question we could not verify never reaches you
Every gap-fill answer has to appear in the passage word for word. When it does not, that group of questions is written again before the test is published, and the groups that passed are kept.
Writing is scored one criterion at a time
Each official descriptor is judged in its own pass. The final band is arithmetic on those separate numbers, not one overall impression.
The exam clock runs on the server
Reloading the page does not give you a second back. In Exam mode the paper submits itself at 0:00, exactly as it would in the hall.

Classrooms and seats
A teacher licence is counted in students, not in classes. Scroll to watch one pool of seats serve two classes.

Every class draws from the same pool. Class A takes 14 seats, Class B takes 7. A student in both classes uses one seat.
